Thread: Anyone trained in Thailand??

I'm thinking of heading to Thailand for a "training" holiday later this year. Maybe for 12 weeks or so.

Any advice? Gyms, gear, where to stay etc...

I've heard Bangkok has the best gyms, but Koh Samui has the all the gear....?

bkk phuket and pattaya is where its all at..

Ive been chang mai, koh samui, phuket, koh phangan, bangkok and pattaya.

pattaya is where the kick boxing camps mainly are besides phuket.. phuket has tiger muay thai and a hand full of others..

Im goin there decemeber for the same "training holiday" come back march atm.. Rough plans..

I booked my accomo for $1400 AUD for 12 weeks in pattaya.

going pattaya bkk and phuket.. Mainly pattaya tho

What you wanna do man? like training wise n day to day shit..

I got heaps of info when i was there and planned for my trip..

I assume you can buy Cell-Tech over there right? I'm not interested in gear, I only want Cell-Tech, especially if I go to Thailand. I only want what all the Pros use, and thats Cell-Tech, nothing beats it. I have recently come off Cell-Tech and I'm doing my PCT for it right now, the Cell-Tech shut me down real hard and I think it gave me gyno.

Some legit some not.. Its who you know really.. Its a 3rd world country man, they're all after the dollar and not afraid to rip someone they don't know $1k.. Most blokes don't even earn $300 a month there....

Don't go off recommendations either when the blokes don't even use them, some blokes will just set you up to buy your whole cycle upfront and its either all fake or massively underdosed..

go to a few gyms.. look for the big boys.. get a spot off em.. get talking..

Chewang beach ( Koh Samui) is awesome. worlds gym is only 15-20 minutes walk away on main road. Some huge boys training there, mostly westerners. It is an old school , hard core gym with loads of plates and heavy duty training equipment.
Everyone is very friendly and by the look of most of them there all on the juice lol.
there is a pharmacy literally every 20 metres and they all sell some gear. But shop around for best deals and products. There is a pharmacy next to worlds that sells all the accessories, and whey protein, shakers etc..
When ya not training relax on the beach, it's sweet and plenty of backpackers lol..

Ohhhhhhh the dream....

I wouldn't be training in koh samui..

All the big rigs train in phuket and pattaya.. Cheaper for EVERYTHING.. Samui everything has to be sent there and costs more as you're on the island and not mainland..

the users there are hell impressive. food is excellent and women are great.
i guess if your going to use the substance then thats a place.
but travel to other parts its not about gear you can get heaps of advice from some ppl globally about training

I wonder if I could con the missus and kids to come with me for 12 weeks...

There is something like 15,000 prostitutes that work in Pattaya. Honestly you shouldn't need to walk further than 10 metres from your hotel door to get laid.

CWAT, It's funny when you use the word expensive, cos compared to back home everything in thailand ( Koh Samui included ) is rediculously cheap. I guess it depends on what you go there for. Personally i like to train and relax on the beach and do a bit of shopping. Am not into the prostitutes, over crowded places, or night clubs. Give me cheap food, a good gym, nice clean beach, and Muay Thai fights most evenings and i am a happy camper lol.

What's your definition of cheap? Living and training there would have to be around 100% more expensive than pattaya.

Samui is pretty expensive for everything compared to the rest of Thailand.

If I was to train, I'd be at Pattaya... Kombat for kickboxing/mma and tony's gym for weights and I'd just get gear from the bkk labs

u have to be careful buying gear in thailand. as funny as that sounds but they do counterfeit alot of gear there... not only heard of it but seen it.

even the industry people are fkn scum! there is a very well known source there, known to many, any ways cut a long story short, some1 was busted bringing their shit back, everything was tested, every 2nd bottle was fake... how do i know? the guy that got caught trying to bring it in, his lawyer told me.
