Default White rice vs brown. Really that much difference for maintenance eating?

I saw something the other day about white rice being not so bad while eating clean. I'm injured and not really working out at the moment, so I'm just eating maintenance cals so I've got enough there to help recovery.

If I'm eating clean ( oats, chicken breast, broccoli, sweet potato etc ) does it matter which rice I'm eating? I love brown but don't mind white either.

I'm not interested in losing weight, or cutting fat or anything ( not while I'm injured ), just eating so I don't out on weight while I'm reasonably inactive.

So far I'm not gaining any weight over the course of the week, though I do have a few low carb ( but not low cal ) days to account for lack of excercise.

No. Not unless you have some specific intolerance to white rice. You will be fine.

Either will be fine, some people hate brown rice because it takes so long to cook, if not dieting no biggy, if you are just count the macros and adjust to suit.
