    Default Low iron

    Ok every blood test i have ever had has shown i got low iron levels. so low it even says on the tests !! PATIENT ALERT !! beside them. so i have tried iron sups, i eat red meat almost every day, sometimes more than once a day, and it still low... so i am a little confused. any one else in a similar position??

    What supplements have you taken?
    What do the rest of your blood hormone levels look like?

    well things like testosterone and eostrogen are very low (at least i dont have high female hormones lol) vitamin D is high, almost everything else is either low or normal but not low enough to be of concern.

    Even with iron supps, it wil take long time to raise iron levels.

    Maybe try iron infusion

    or supplement with desiccated liver. Most iron supps are poorly absorbed, this one isn't.

    Have you been checked for blood disorders? Or conditions that may reduce serum iron levels?

    What your RBC count? If this is low into the anemic range you may need a little bit more action than just iron supplements.
