Hands down find yourself a good physio. From the sound of it you're in a similar position to me, my left trap likes to spaz out with certain overhead movements.
A lot of it has to do with tightness in certain areas and posture. Mine stems from a tight pec minor pulling my shoulder forward, causing me to engage other muscles (trap) to complete the lift.
Definitely see a physio but in the interim, invest in some fisiocrem (think that's how you spell it) and a lacrosse ball or spikey physio ball. Put a focus on myofascial release and be religious with it. Google will show you a lot of good ways to release tension throughout your pec minor and anterior delt
