Just an update, bought new weight gainer but it taste like shit!! Nearly vomited. . .

Can you still get the same results, without taking protein shakes? Would that mean I just have to eat more protein. . ?

    O.N thanks mate.

    cheers!

Without protein shakes It would be very hard to get the required amount of protein everyday. At 85Kg you should look to get 280grams everyday to get that from food is about 650grams of chicken! So it's both cheaper and easier to have shakes.

What protein powder have you got?

Hey bro, I got "Hard Mass Gainer" by Inner Armour, double chocolate flavour. Once I blended it it seriously turned to mud, also tasted fowl! I usually drink anything but this stuff just sucks...

Hey, Sorry I never tried that so i say, but if it's as bad as you say it is you might have got a bad batch. Maybe go back to where you got it and ask even get one of them to try it. If you got it online get something else then go scoop for scoop you don't just want to throw it away. I've never got a protein powder that didn't taste at least half decent sounds like you just got unlucky.

When i first started out i used to get horleys mass gainer i think the taste was pretty good, but after awhile i lerned that it's better and cheaper to just buy plain protien and blend it with oats, banana, milk, honey and ect..

I agree with Michael, although most weight gainers have reduced the amount of sugar they have in them there are still quite a few out there. It kind of defeats the purpose of eating clean.

Yeah funny you say that, I researched a little on ON Serious Mass and found that the suger content was huge! Although the Musashi is more expensive, Im happy to pay for something I can enjoy to drink. . .and better quality proteins (such a thing?) used.

Want a weight gainer? Eat a 1/4 pounder.

Fuck Maccas bro that shit makes me sick! But yes I am a skinny bitch hahaha

OK how does my gym routine and all round programme sound?

    Warm up- 20kg BB curl 2x 20

    (sets of reps)

    Bench Press- 3x6 @70kg
    Suspended Dips- 2x9 bodyweight
    Deadlift- 3x6 @ 90kg
    Chest Press- 3x6 @ 82kg
    Bicep Curl BB- 3x6 @ 30kg
    Seated Row- 3x7 @ 112kg
Dumbell Military Press DB incline- 3x6 @ 40kg (last set I fail at 4th rep)
Calf Raises- 3x10 @ (of whatever weight I fail at on my 10th, usually different machines, sometimes seated but mostly standing.)

I need to add Militry Press with BB, any critisicm? I have 48hr rest so gym every second day, usually Mondy, Wensdy, Fridy and sometimes Sunday and then the next week opposite days. Protein shake after breakfast, right after workout, then right before I go to sleep. Lots of rest, sleeping on average 9hrs a night, with no strenuous activity during 48hr break.

Meals Id say 4 a day (actual food not shakes), lots of emphasise on chicken/redmeat/beans. 3 eggs for breaky too. Started eating more fruit because my stools were getting hard to pass, so the fruit is helping me have better bowl movements. Also using Nano Vapor just for a pre-workout pump, get me pumping before I enter the gym, but take 1/3 of the reccomended dosage (2 caplets).

How does it all sound? Am I doing the right shit, please be honest with me I want serious fucking results hahaha

Also to note, I benched a claimed 90kg on the Smith Bench press machine, but Im not sure if the bar by itself weighs 20kg unlike the raw Bench Press, I feel I can use more strength on the Smith as I dont have to worry about balancing it, just focus all my power straight up. However I do train on the raw Bench Press, but it was occupied when I went to use it so I just hit the S M.

    cheers

    its good.

    dont use smith machines

less exercises e.g chest/triceps thats it.... 1/2 days rest back biceps

less is more in terms of it.... rest periods keep it 3-4 minutes 6/8 rep range

Smith bar weighs 15LBS, great for use when trying to do a close grip bench isolating tri's or for really hitting the quads in a squat.

I'd say up the 10+ reps and eat 6 meals a day not 4. Drink lots of water 4L+ a day and make sure your getting over 200grams of protein a day as a very min.

I think it looks good. With regard to the Smith machine, Adz is right is weighs about 7KG. I assume you train alone? If so then I don't see a problem with using the Smith machine because you'll be more inclined to try and lift heavier unless you can find a spotter. I rarely bench press these days with inclines being my focus and if I want to do flat bench then DB. I train alone.

Yeah I train with a mate but I use the normal bench without a spot, if Im gonna try my max Ill get him to spot me. .

Well regarding my meals, Im eating 4 meals a day, 3 eggs in the morning, 1 big stake at 2pm, second big stake at 5, then a dinner that will have rice and chicen or pasta, the 2 stakes alone are worth 0.704 grams, also having 3 protein shakes, each worth 0.44 grams of protein, would all of that have to be good protein levels for growth? Surely. . .

Really keen to get some serious stimulents, but not gear, any ideas?

OK just realised how important quality meals are. Eating 2 big stakes a day along with other meals has helped me considerbly put on muscle or gain strength, red meat is my best friend ha!Although my bowls are having a hard time with it, alot of food, frequenting the toilet 3-4 timres a day

Now benching at 90kg, pretty happy. .

Any ideas for some serious stimulents? Not roids though. .

no such thing as a serious stim (not roids) lol both creatine and beta-aline are stims they work but only marginally, make you push out an extra rep but that's it if that's worth your hard earned $ then go for it. I guess they help slightly too for recovery/DOMS but as i said the effects are marginal.

You could use CNS stims like high dose caffeine or speed but it's not healthy and likely to do more harm than good imo.
