    I have started going to the gym to reduce my beer belly. a week later i have tried some weights an i really liked it. They were light but i am patient and i hope one day will be able to lift more and more...

    Hi guys, a newbie to bodybuilding forums. I am a mature age guy (52 years) wanting to start in the bodybuilding scene and wanting some reliable information. I have been doing some training however no direction and would like to get serious and perhaps enter some competitions. First, need to lose some weight and get strong and hoping to get some good advice. Cheers

    Welcome to the forums mate.
    Best advice would be to find yourself a good reputable body building coach that can do your meals and training. Not a skinny ass PT that every gym seems to have these days.

    Mr Leroy Cubert is worth googling or youtubing for some good old fashioned advice on Body building naturally and of course plenty of good advise here too. Good luck with it !

    As an ol c.u.n.t myself who lifts , keep in mind the body doesnt heel as fast with lifting injury's and it takes longer to recover from training than what it did 20 years ago so don't go crazy lifting insane heavy weights til you body adapts.

    Gidday 08Vstrom, Thanks for the referral. Yeh, I have been lifting for a while however never took the dedication. I have been through the overtraining and injuries. Now what to concentrate on form and transition to definition. I have given myself a number of years to achieve my goals. No rush however what to make some good gains and achieve my targets. Cheers

    and some of your goals over come injury

    I have a head had injury ! .. been lerking for a long time here , some people just do not know where to look when they think they have revilement information to start cycle , even after researching diets , micro bio , human movements ,doing excessive training ,paying a P.T ,changing your whole life style to improve your fitness and well-being . living in remote areas with limited peer advice , Im not positive if internet purchasing is legit or bunk , so there is some curiosity ,
    looks like a lot of experienced information here which im grateful , some other sites are a bit full on , we all have out own issues and struggles day to day , we are all different and compounds affect every single one differently, bro science is general rule of thumb but the rest is experimenting with endocrines ect . I have muscle atrophy this is why im interested in these forms , cheer everyone have a great day
