    Default 24 eggs later

I figured out its impossible to boil them..

I followed everything my mother said, what i read on the internet, what my room mate said. And i wasted 24 eggs.. 2-4 each time with different temp settings and times etc... Seriously im talking over an hour here just trying to boil some fucking eggs.

Got the steamer out.. 18 minutes and done..

    That is all.

I steam all my vegies too.. Works awesome, i think i love this steamer!

I'm sorry... you're telling me that you plan on boiling your eggs with a steamer and it will take 18 mins??!! lol I suppose you have time for a shower while it's steaming..

    Technically im steaming them..

    Just ate a few.. They're perfect @ 18 minutes..

Also tested a few straight from the fridge which were fully cold.. and they turned out fine too..

Yeah the idea is i can cook them without needing to be there.. IE get home from work, steam them whilst having a shower.. then steam vegies after and cook up my shit..

i couldnt for the life of me boil them without exploding them 15 secs after i put them in the fkn water..

Or you could just put them in the cold water and start them boiling along with the water...

    Sure 25g would work

You've got to do that to allow the pressure to equalize otherwise they explode as you've found out.

Also add a pinch of salt this will increase the boiling point of the water making the egg cook faster.

Buy a Breville egg cooker. Only does a max of 6 or so eggs or so but they are perfect every time. Even comes with a needle to pierce the shells so you don't waste your precious 25g needles. lol

I used to boil them cold and I think it was 4 mins on high with a medium size burner. Don't quote me on time. Was years since I cooked them. I done it for 5 years every morning. Always cooked perfect. U may need to adjust time according to how u like them

It's really simple if you want a hard boiled you boil water throw eggs in and TURN THE STOVE OFF IMMEDIANTLY walk away and leave em there until the water goes cold will be perfect everytime and will never crack and you don't have to pin em or anything.

After just drain the water and throw em in the fridge.

Yep tried that.. They still exploded 15 seconds later..

I think the "high" on this stove must be higher than normal if im still getting explosions everytime..

meh.. got a dozen in the steamer as im typing this..
