I just spoke with my moko artist to book him in for more work. And he says 4 days and a min of 4k just to complete what i have/need to finish!!!!!!!!!!
There is no way i could handle that haha
I am going to NZ to see him so i got flights and accom to worry about too. He is 3 hrs away from my closest family member so gota stay where he is for a few days. Im hoping to book for 2 full days!

telling me bro! it works out better for me though cos im going there. When he comes to oz he charges 150 an hr but over there it would seem he only charges 100 and hr. Well worth it in my eyes though. Ill send you a pic mick when i do it

He is the man when it comes to traditional style tamoko. He is a uni teacher, master carver of wood and bone, and a world re noun artist. He is very often overseas creating works for museums and galleries.
It is good that he is my artist because he also knows my families history and where im from, even better then what i do lol.
Lets put it this way, i could have gotton my cousin to do my moko for free, but i went to see this guy. He has done a few of my cousins/aunties/uncs and even my missus family lol

Its my leg around my quad. its to wrap fully around, go over the bum cheek, on 1 side of lower stomach and join on my obliques from what i have on my stomach. im only doing the 1 leg. I might at a later date do the other but since the beginning ive only planned for the one leg. my cousin started it about 3 yrs ago or longer but i got my artist to do the rest of what i have. My cousins work only covered a space of about 20cm by 10cm. the the rest has been blended in and lines straightened lol

This artist did my cousin too. He took a look at it and goes, oh fk brother what the hell did tama do here? Looks like he had parkinsons when he did this.
The lines were terrible and he pushed too hard with the needle and it went too deep and split the lines... He tidied it up and once i finish the rest it wont be as noticable

I have Thai writing down my arm, an elephant's head on my calf, an armband of celtic stuff on my bicep, a japanese symbol for crocodile on my neck and my latest one is a cougar on my righ shoulder. I got it for my dad, as he past away recently.
He used to look like Barry Dawson "The Cougar". He had them on his number plates. LOL.
All my Tatt's mean something to me, and I don't regret any. 
The attachment is of my last one. 1/2 a day later that's why it's red and puffy. It took 2 sessions of 2.5 hours each time. Shading hurts like a mofo.
