Well i have been plugging away, still, results are becoming more visible which is TEH BEST!!!11111 so pretty happy with this, my diet is pretty solid with 5 meals a day + protein/carb shakes, bench is at 90kg (4 reps), deadlifting 110 (3 sets of 6), militry press is 45kg (4 reps of 3, i feel like im struggling on this), so things are going all good, not sure on my weight but Im gonna say its probably still at 85kg. . .

There is two areas recently in which i think are the holes in my programme, first is sleep. Sleeping roughly 10 hours sometimes 11 everyday, im thinking thats half a day in which my body starves itself? Second would be im not lifting heavier enough weights, so I upped every excersize by like 5-10%, really feeling it now, feel like my muscles are going to tear through my skin at the gym, awesome feeling!

Thanks bro!! with the bench I can only manage 4 reps of 90kg then im done lol, my lower back gets super sore when doing militry, perhaps my form is incorrect.. now that I think about it I am arching my back so I guess that could be the problem.

yeah bro u gotta watch that. make sure u tense ur abs before u do it or brace ur abs, that way it keeps ur core locked and straight.

well its been a long battle but im starting to be happy with what i see in the mirror, but still have a while to go. Lets back up a bit, when I was sitting at 93.8 kilos i was feeling good, but due to work arrangements, i lost 4-5 kilos basically sitting on or just under 90kg, was fucking pissed after the effort id be putting in, but my discpline with this shit is good, pushed through it and back to where i should be, jumped on scales after a shit and was sitting on 95 kilos (3 days ago, hot weekend), yeeeeehaa.

I think ive come a long way already, seeing as i was 72 kilos in March, first stepped into a gym may 11th, havnt looked back. . .now im 20 something kilos heavier, fuk yeah..and no fatty too, still can see my abs outlined. Nearly at my goal of 97 kilos, pumped.

If anyone reading this is wondering how I achieved this, i followed the advice all the usual posters gave me on here, which is

    - EAT
    -REST
    -EAT
    -REST
    -TRAIN

. . . and the biggest thing I feel is consistency, not once did i stop eating less than 5 meals a day, maybe a few days in total, and went to the gym 3-4 days a week since. . .discpline goes along way.

Bit of an update..sitting at 97/98kg as of now, all my lifts are up apart from bench lol bit lazy there... Still all natural

    Deadlift 150kg few reps
Bench 110kg for reps?? Not sure..
    Squat 100kg sets (?) of 5 reps

Also looking more vascular than above photo and bigger.

Oh you guys were right I have put weight on like no tomorrow and got my strength back accordingly after my horrible injury I had which saw me not eat or train for just over 1 month.. also beating all my PBs on lifts since so I'm super pumped.

Maybe mods can move this to Journals?

    Done. Congrats on the progress.

Have you been doing deads with touch and go still, or change up to dead weight from ground?
Fear based marketing, gotta love it... Eat too little you'll break your metabolism, funny how lower metabolic rate is linked to longevity.

Touch and Go, but with a slight tap, but not bouncing the weight. I feel i get a better back workout, whereas If its completely dead I feel im under to much strain lol.

Fair enough. I regurgitate the information I have read from Mark Rippetoe regarding squats, dls etc. I'm sure all would agree he is a bit of an authority on the subject. In his books he makes a lot of good points regarding why you should be cleaning the weight dead from the ground but each to their own.

    Whats the straining part?

Straining as in my back is under to much pressur......man I cant explain it lol it just doesnt feel nice, feels like my body is just gonna rip off and all that is standing there is my skeleton and eyes, with my fleshy body all blobbed on the floor....you know the feeling? LOL

Well squats are strange, have never really pushed, I believe my max few reps would be around 130 or so, Im finding 110 easy, this 5x5 workout is cool its also letting me see where im at regarding my limits....
