not a fan of tats at all, actually had one when i was younger...
i had a Panther running down my chest, cost me $200 to put on at the time and about $7000 to remove a few years later...
How does it look now that it was removed? how did they do it?
imo white people look shit with tats... unless they are HUGE... sleeves dont look nice... imo.
u have to really think seriously before u do it eh...
mine looked good cos i tan very easily, still tho after i got out of uni started going for really good jobs I didnt wana have any of that stuff on me.
it looks perfect now, like its never been there and i've got no marks or nothing either.
I think it would probably be a bit cheaper to remove now. i got the tat in 1996 and started getting it removed in 2000. took over a year because you have to go back every 4 weeks to keep getting the laser done once your skin heals properly. everytime you get the laser done the colour fades a bit. it is a very slow and gradual process tho hence why it takes so long and why it costs sooo much. after about 5/6 sessions it looks very very ugly too. you look like those 50yr olds that have had the tat for 35yrs and its all 1/2 faded and lost colour...
then eventually it all fades. see i got stuffed up because i've got very sensitive skin too so they couldnt turn the laser up too much otherwise they could have given me scars.
i think tats look good on certain people but a lot of people get them to try to portray a tough guy image. i like tats that truly mean something to the person that gets them, like a saying or something that really means something to them not just something that looks cool.
i think most of the people getting the japanese style tats will regret them in years to come when they arent so popular, like the people that get those big fleshy ear things.
big holes in the ears arent as easy to cover up though.
Yeah there is alot of people getting names etc tattooed that are in chinese and hardly any of the people speak or can read the language pretty silly imo and i wonder if there would be any tat's out there that say something different to what the peron thinks it say's.![]()
a friend of mine was walking down the street with his sister in law and she had recently gotten a chinese character on her hip. A chinese guy walking past started laughing at her and asked if she knew what it meant. She said "yeah it means 'peace'". He said "no, it says 'fuck me'".
I have a tiny tattoo and if i had the choice to do it again i wouldn't. It's too small to regret it but still...skin is beautiful.
Hahaha thats funny i reckon there would be a few guy's and girls getting around with all sorts of shit on them that they think says something else.
I'd love to know what some are, i'd really like to see some random weird ones that don't mean much but make you laugh.....if only we could read them.
Take it nobody has any here?
Lol that was my next question
i have a little dragonfly on my lower back
What was your reasoning behind a dragonfly stinky?
i just like dragonflies
Dragonflies symbolise alot of things. Joy, hope, peace, change amonst other things. Most positive but not all.
I don't have any but im all for symbolic tatts. I hate the ones blokes get that are just barbed wire around the arm or girls and their butterflies and dolphins.
I just can't help but think how the tattos will look when you're old and wrinkled in a nursing home.
I doubt i'll be caring too much by then. You wont see me out trying to pick up at that age .... well actually you might
Ill let you know in a few weeks. I just got my clinical placement and its at a nursing home.
