    Default Most effective supplement

what do you think is the most effective supplement?
    not juice tho.
i have tried heaps of shit and i reckon creatine ang lutamine obviously stand out above the crowd, i could feel resveratrol working also but my definate favourite and personal 'must' for anyone who works out is glutamine.

I use both creatine (10g) and glutamine (5g) and I like them both. I use glutamine twice a day. After training and before bed. Haven't tried resveratrol but am planning to next month. I'll be in touch ON once I get my bloods done.

I've been a massive advocate of l-glutamine for a long time, 20g a day does wonders for recovery and immune health... It is seriously a stand out supp for me and i honestly would not go without it...

as little as 3 grams a day before bed does wonders for rapid recovery, well for my body anyways.
as little as 2g before bed can raise natural hgh levels by 400%.
    i reckon it rocks.

It will mate just be sure to follow instructions on keeping it in the mouth for a few mins before swallowing. You should start noticing sexual changes anywhere from 3-12 days. Im usually 3-5 others have been 12 days tops but everyone notices changes.

i never noticed any difference at all with glutamine vs without....

I find it hard to believe it works for everyone here when it did nothing for me.

    Best supp.. Non-flavoured WPI.

    Well; to answer this way...

I think that supplements (not gear), fall broadly into two categories; 1. Those that are more about "performance enhancing", that is, training support, metabolism boosters, the creatines and so on, and 2. those that are more about health and well-being.

So my suggestion falls in the second category, although I've had good results from a few in the former. I highly recommend things like B complex, Zinc, Magnesium, Chromium, Melatonin, DIM, and a few others, but the one that I think has done the most for me, and one that I can feel the changes when I don't take it, is Vitamin D (which is actually a hormone). The science behind D is overwhelming and its link to many major illnesses including schizophrenia, cancer, autism, moods disorders, colds and flu, and many more, and its overal role in body chemistry, is compelling.

Despite our sunny climate, a huge proportion of the community is D deficient and given we don't get enough from food by miles, if we don't get it from the sun, and many don't, then the only way to maintain healthy D levels, and the benefits that brings, is to take about 5,000IUs ed. I routinely take between 5-10k ed and since I've been doing that the changes in my overall well-being is phenomenal, and I haven't had a cold, flu, or even sniffles, for some time. It is a potent immune booster.

Women who plan to have children should be taking D before, during, and after pregnancy, along with folate which has become the hot thing for pregnant women.
