Mariusz Pudzianowski, a record five-time World’s Strongest Man champion, has signed with Polish mixed martial arts promotion KSW, according to Polish website mmarocks.pl.

He will be making his MMA debut at KSW 12 in December.

He began practicing martial arts at the age of 11 and holds a fourth kyu green belt in Kyokushin Karate. He has also competed in amateur boxing for several years.

the strongman events have been on fox lately, have seen a few.

The guy's are actually quite fit!!! But rarely do anything for longer than a 2 or 3 minutes. Sometimes they have to exert for longer, fuck i couldn't do it even with small weights

some funny trivia, he used to be a boxer but disliked getting hit so opted for something different etc etc became a strong man competitor.

Yes I am.

I read somewhere that someone high up in the polish mafia was beating a kid up and mariusz stepped in and flogged him, the guy was apparently so influential mariusz got thrown in the slammer for 19 months and missed heaps of strongman events around ~2000-2001.

Holy crap thats interesting aye. Typical corruption. I mean if the other guy was being an arse and in the wrong its bullcrap he ended up in court. Suppose we dont know the full story though...
