Hey hey, now your crossing the line again! Atleast jappa bikes have a bite that matches the growl... unlike the italian and american ones

Mate I love the sound of a V8 at full song. I've got a 351 Cleveland in my toy. I dont need the radio on.

Nah my point was it won't necessarily help the engine to just go and get a straight through system with no mufflers. It will make it loud but it can hurt performance actually.

i know fuck all about cars but as a combustion engine its gonna be the same principles as my hog, back pressure in the exhaust is essential, too little ie straight outs like my pipes and you get more backfiring and less power, with screaming eagles tapered turbo pipes they were ugly but my bike went a lot quicker, they had baffles in them and had the correct amount of backpressure to make all even with the mikuni carby and kurakyn hypercharger putting though more air and fuel (better mix for power anyways) than the stock standards. then again stock harley pipes and air intakes are made to be removed and binned.

i had to correct this in my bike by creating some backpressure by inserting small cones in between the head and the pipes, it in turn constricted the diameter of the pipe giving it backpressure and increased top speed and takeoff speed also.

yeah straight outs = less power, in my experience, but they sound fucking mad, mine still sounds fucking mad

back pressure is essential unless its got a turbo.

my system isn't open pipes i have all the cats mufflers etc it just a full pacemaker system and is suppose to make more power in all area's once tuned properly for the pipes.

The standard system is also too restrictive, the power is much great with the newer system low/top end and middle.

Yeah your probably right lol the car still made about 283rwhp with just exhaust and a chip so nothing to sneeze at but yeah sounded throaty as hell especially when backing off the throttle.
