    Default Advice on getting back in the gym. Lacking motivation after injury

    Hi Guys,
    Had an extended period off after suffering a broken rib and am now skinny fat. I've always hit the weights in the morning and now I'm healed and good to go I'm making excuses. It's always 'I will start tomorrow'. That said I know once I start I will be good and get addicted again. Having a lot of trouble getting started again. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Do you have before and after and now before pics???

    Blow them up and stick them where you brush your teeth.
    See every day where you were, what you got to and this will also remind you of how you felt.

    I shrill use my post car accident pic to motivate myself if I start getting down.

    Thanks Mate,
    That's solid advice and I will def do it. It's amazed me how difficult taking the first step back into the gym and eating well again has been. Did an upper body workout this morning and felt those great endorphins. Geez I really missed those feelings after a workout. My diet today was poor but I think I'm back. Actually looking forward to waking up with doms and I'm determined to hit legs in the morning.
